Two to three farms should be visited daily. The areas of consulting include dairy nutrition, hygiene, silage and hay production, pasture management, feed ration calculation and farm economy.

Our client is one of the leading European producers of food and feed. They are part of a family owned independent and successful Group of Companies and a pioneer for future-oriented, healthy, and sustainable nutrition.

 They are a Tanzanian private Company, registered in October 2020 and based in Arusha.  Being part of a subsidiary, they will conduct intensive trainings on the areas of consultancy. They will also give support to the regional partners to empower their businesses and to push for professionalization and mechanization of the regional dairy sector.

The partners are well established and successful companies serving the dairy sector in the relevant regions. 

•      To do regular on-farm consultancy visits at their dairy farmer customers,
•     To document and track on areas of farm / farmer improvement and
•     To sell agricultural inputs to the farms.

•     23-30 year old
•    Holder of a Bachelor/Diploma/ Master’s degree in Range Management/ animal science/animal production/animal nutrition
•     Practical work experience in the dairy/livestock sector (minimum 2 years)
•     Passion for the Dairy sector and customer- orientation
•     Willingness to live in rural area
•   Desire to carry out regular on-farm consultancy (visit 2+ farms daily), document / track improvements and sell agricultural inputs
•     Good consultancy capabilities (analytical, communication, problem-solving attitude, target and result-driven)
•    Capability and passion to train dairy farmers and advise on possible areas of improvement to the farms and the partner´s company
•     Integrity, self-starter with self-initiative attitude, flexibility, and readiness to grow
•     Fluent in Kiswahili and good in English
•     Excellent practical knowledge of standard computer software programs such as Word, Excel, and Power Point.
