Our client is one of the leading European producers of food and feed. They are part of a family owned independent and successful Group of Companies and a pioneer for future-oriented, healthy, and sustainable nutrition.

They are a Tanzanian private Company, registered in October 2020 and based in Arusha.  Being part of a subsidiary, they will conduct intensive trainings on the proper usage, maintenance and repair of the machinery and on the booking apps. It will also give support to the regional partners to empower their businesses and to push for professionalization and mechanization of the regional dairy sector.

The partners are well established and successful companies serving the dairy sector in the relevant regions.

•     To operate tractors, mowers, baler (silage & hay), silage harvester, etc. at the client farms of our partners;
•     To transport the relevant equipment to the daily new assigned farms;
•     To service the equipment and do routine maintenance and repair;
•     To actively use the online booking apps
•     To post and track the job specifics and daily learnings

•     23 to 35 years old
•     Certificate/Bachelor/Diploma in a technical college/university
•     Practical work experience with agricultural machinery (2+ years)
•     Drivers´ licence for tractors and other agricultural machinery
•     Basic experience in maintenance and repair of tractors and other agricultural equipment
•     Passion for the Dairy sector and customer-orientation
•     Willingness to live in rural areas
•     Desire to properly use the booking apps, carry out regular documentation and track improvements
•     Showing responsibility for proper and careful use of the high-end quality equipment
•     Self-starter with self-initiative attitude and flexibility
•     Problem-solving attitude, target and result-driven
•     Integrity and readiness to grow
•     Proper use of iPads
•     Excellent practical knowledge of standard computer software programs such as Word, Excel, and Power Point.
