Job Summary

Swahili Honey is a major supplier of honey in the Tanzanian and East African market dealing with over 200 tons a year. Our raw honey is produced by local beekeepers from Tanzania’s natural forests, and bees are never exposed to any commercial farming activities, chemicals or antibiotics feeding or spraying, which now increase their natural resistance and health, to provide a tastier, 100% pure honey.

We are looking for a well experinced Commercial Manager for our factory. A  Commercial manager in responsible for leading sales teams to reach sales targets. Are primarily tasked with hiring and training team members, setting quotas, evaluating and adjusting performance, and developing processes that drive sales.


Duties And Responsibilities
  • Handling of sales and collection
  • Recruit, hire, and train sales team
  • Set sales goals, compare performance to goals, and adjust goals as needed
  • Assess current team processes and procedures, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement them
  • Develop individual quotas and assign territories for team members
  • Provide detailed and accurate sales forecasts
  • Coach, mentor, and provide feedback to team members
  • Foster a competitive yet collaborative team environment
  • Assess individual performance through observation and measurement, and suggest corrective actions as needed
  • Responsible for the budget and keep on top of all the costs involved in large-scale construction projects.
  • Source the services and resources needed, negotiating costs with other suppliers.
  • To oversee projects and monitor plans to ensure deadlines are met, projects stay within budget and work is up to standard.

  • Adhering to regulatory guidelines.

Education Other Skills Required
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in sales or similar field.
  • Solid knowledge in the honey industry or FMCG background will be an advantage
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Proven ability to lead a team to meet quotas
  • Excellent leadership skills
  • Experience setting sales goals
  • Results-oriented with strong analytical skills
  • Deep understanding of CRM systems and best practices
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
