Duties And Responsibilities
  • Manage cash flow and working capital by tracking transactions and regularly reviewing internal reports
  • Improving efficiencies and reducing costs across the business
  • Developing financial strategy, including risk minimization plans and opportunity forecasting
  • High-level financial reporting and analysis
  • Manage and analyze marketing/commercial spends against the budget
  • Debt management and collection • Developing financial reviews and providing investment advice
  • Payroll processing
  • Create monthly and annual reports to identify results, trends, and financial forecasts
  • Supervise accountants and financial assistants
  • Suggest updates and improvements for accounting systems, including payroll and invoicing.
  • Ensure that all financial transactions are properly recorded, filed, and reported
  • Well-developed leadership skills
  • Examine all financial reports and data closely to check for discrepancies
  • Assist in the review of financial plans and budgets regularly to look for cost reduction opportunities.
  • Daily review all cashbook entries to ensure accurate postings to all banks.
  • Monthly cash book reconciliation
  • Analyze working capital trends/reports and advise management opportunity areas of improvement.
  • Risk analysis for all suppliers, debtors and non-performing customers.
  • Trade Customer visits for debt collection, financial advice to customers especially compliances to improve sales.
  • Working close to sales and procurement team to improve revenue and cost savings.
  • Any other responsibility as assigned by Finance Manger

Education Other Skills Required
  • Master's degree in accounting, Finance, Economics or business administration
  • 5+ Years working experience must have worked senior accountant.
  • Must possess professional certificate such as CPA(T)/ACCA or CIMA
  • Strong leadership qualities
  • Auditing experience.
  • Compliance oriented.
  • Proficiency in accounting software preferably sage 300 ERP.
  • Excellent analytical, numerical and time management skills
  • Computer literacy and familiar with accounting software (Sage 300)
  • Ready to work under pressure and minimum supervision so as to accomplish the daily task and monthly deadlines.
  • Inter personal skills
  • Keen attention to details.
  • Be ready for long hours work with no monetary compensation
  • The job requires a high degree of discipline to observe deadlines set
  • High level of confidentiality and honest.
