As a startup Digital firm, Davu Digital focuses on advancing Artificial Intelligence (AI) adoption and products in select industries (Financial Services, Consumer, and Healthcare) in Africa. Davu provides end-to-end AI services to enable business value including strategy, product design and build, and people readiness.

As a Senior Strategy Manager, Digital + AI Products, you will help advise clients and develop products that drive business value by leveraging AI solutions and technology. This role will help shape the vision for services and products in AI/ML at Davu Digital.

• Have depth across the end-to-end AI/ML lifecycle and all critical aspects of AI/ML development
• Familiarity with AI/ML industry trends / best practices to drive creative problem-solving and ensure solutions are best-in-class across the industry/region
• Utilize DAVU’s proprietary methods and tools to develop the overall AI strategy and detailed plan(s) for the full lifecycle of technical implementation and technology initiatives
• Translate business needs into associated technical requirements, and understand solutions that will incorporate these requirements
• Develop and maintain contact with top decision makers at key clients
• Manage and lead business development efforts, including Statements of Work (SOW), proposal development, client presentations, etc. 
• Co-define service offerings and product vision, strategies, and roadmaps based on a shared view of business priorities
• Work closely with data scientists, data engineers, full stack engineers and strategists in ensuring service/product needs of client and business are achieved
• Lead and contribute to Davu’s development initiatives including culture building, eminence, recruiting, whitepapers, etc.
• Lead client engagements end-to-end (from selling, scoping, research, client delivery and go-to-market)

• Bachelors degree in a technical field such as Computer Science; advanced degrees including MA/MS, PhD or MBA a plus; 6+ years relevant experience in technology strategy, digital transformation, AI/ML, product development or architecture design with a focus on technology platform, data and machine learning services 
• Natural passion for innovation, artificial intelligence and the future of technology
• Advanced knowledge of assigned geographical area, competitive market, banking operations, and AI products and services
• Experience with public cloud providers such as Google, AWS, and/or Azure is preferred
• Entrepreneurial drive and demonstrated ability to achieve stretch goals in an innovative and fast-paced environment, with experience working with machine learning products; working knowledge of deep learning, and statistics, and/or working knowledge of SaaS AI platforms 
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; team player, with the ability to effectively interact with and build relations at all levels 
• Proven ability to independently manage multiple projects and assignments that are completed on time and on budget
• Exceptionally strong client management and executive-level communication skills
• Experience in Financial Services industry is preferred
