We are looking for an experienced Area Sales Manager to join our team.
As an Area Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing sales programs that maximize sales from the assigned accounts to the target accounts, overseeing and conducting market research to develop and implement sales initiatives, developing and implementing sales strategies and product knowledge.
▪ Set clear objectives that are consistent with Zone goals with each member of team .
▪ Ensure clear communication and adherence of pricing and promotions
▪ Update the Zone scoreboard on a weekly basis.
▪ Provide recognition and feedback to the Full team .
▪ Manage and agree MJP (Monthly Journey Plan) for SRs, weekly / fortnightly.
▪ Assess capability through route rides and Market visits and provide feedback to the full team.
▪ Maintain and review record of route rides, Market visits, Objectives and progress on a weekly basis.
▪ Train, Coach and Guide Sales Representatives and Merchandisers .
▪ Maintain Physical presence in the Territory to ensure understanding of customer needs
▪ Deeply analyses Sales Report to initiate appropriate action and corrective plan .
▪ Responsible for expansion of markets to untapped areas and activate Customers within existing areas.
▪ Improve numeric and weighted availability of products and packages.
▪ Improve KPIs for the assigned block by tracking SRs wise and daily KPI report.
▪ Convert and track competitor accounts and other non-buyers in the territory.
▪ Ensure SRs are adhering to planned Route for the day.
▪ Attain and resolve Customer's complaints, if any immediately.
▪ Ensure every SR has Master list(database) of all customers in his/her area
▪ Work on improving Merchandising/Brand visibility in the market.
▪ Regularly check SRs SFA and Car Track report and take necessary corrective measures
▪ Report to CM any new competition activities in the market.
▪ Ensure quality of all brands and report counterfeit immediately
▪ Verify Odometer of all your Direct report frequently
▪ Ensure to fill your car Log book for each trip
▪ Inspect Log book of your Direct report.
