Rafiki (Coffee) Ltd is one of the leading toll coffee curing in northern Tanzania. The Coffee Mill Manager will oversee the day-to-day mill operations including production, manpower planning, plant maintainance, health and safety and stock management

Actively looking for Coffee Mill Manager who can

Location : Moshi 

• Plan, coordinate and manage shift operations to achieve production targets while ensuring full capacity utilization
• Ensure good hygiene and orderliness inside the warehouses,
• Efficiently utilize the warehouse space available
• Carry our periodic and preventive equipment maintenance ensuring limited machine downtime.
• Prepare, analyses and submit periodic reports to senior management, milling clients and the coffee board, and maintain an updated coffee stock position.
• Maintain and develop strong relationships with existing and prospective clients including regular visits to coffee farms.
• Always ensure adherence to industrial regulations proper health and safety standards in the workplace in line with the Group’s health and safety standards.
• Adhere to certification standards and support in such audit
• Coordinate and work closely with the sustainability department to ensure there is proper synergy to maximize advantage of the company in a competitive environment
• Develop, motivate, and manage the performance of staff under supervision.

• Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Engineering, Food Science, or any related field
• At least 8 years’ work experience in an agri-business production setting. Experience within a coffee dry mill or coffee estate would be of added advantage.
• Proven ability to lead technical, quality and warehouse teams
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build positive working relationships with a range of stakeholders.
• Computer literacy i.e. proficiency in Microsoft Office packages and stock management system.
