On behalf of our client, we are looking for a Field Production Technician Officer in Agribusiness Industry.
Duties And Responsibilities
1. Conduct technically the production fields of commercial crops, seeds and tests in corn, sorghum and soybean crops.
2. Participate in weekly meetings with of the planning plants for current status of activities and plan the next stages of the processes.
3. Survey of rural producers and agricultural properties to be contracted.
4. Adjustment of planting, spraying, detasseling, pollinator cutting and mechanized harvesting equipment.
5. Survey of pests and diseases in production fields.
6. Program, guide and technically monitor the dosages of recommended agricultural defensives and their effectiveness.
7. Schedule and coordinate specific activities involving rural labor, from production fields.
8. Guarantee the genetic quality of the production fields.
9. Evaluate and recommend the appropriate irrigation management for each crop phase.
10. Carry out general sampling of the production fields.
11. Installation and application of tests.
12. Control of losses in production fields.
13. Ensuring Compliance with Legal Requirements in the production areas.
14. Actively act in the EH&S Culture with the Groups, suppliers of field operation mechanization (detaching, spraying, cutting, harvesting.
15. Follow-up of maintenance and logistical support for agricultural machinery and equipment.
16. Feed internal systems with data from production fields.
17. Share and participate in the field and production planning meetings.
18. Responsible for the cost management of their own fields. Looking forward on cost reducing opportunities. Knowledge of agricultural techniques such as soil preparation, planting, irrigation, spraying, harvesting, transport, etc.
Education Other Skills Required
Driver License is required.
Basic knowledge of mechanics is desirable. Graduation:
· Agricultural Engineering / Agronomy / Agriculture General / Crop Production
Other knowledge and skills:
1. Minimum of 2-3 years experience with large cultures.
2. Proactivity, resourcefulness, resilience are essential and leadership experience is desirable.
3. Interpersonal relationship skills at different levels of the organization. Empathy and willingness to deal with different cultures.
