Job Overview: Tanga Fresh Limited is seeking an experienced CEO to manage the day-to-day operational activities, and lead teams to achieve industrial budget in cost and time-effective manners, with a strong approach of exploring and capturing new business opportunities with high profit margins in Tanzania.

Duties And Responsibilities
Duties & Responsibilities:
1.Strategic Leadership:
. Develop and articulate the company’s vision, mission, and overall strategic direction. · Lead the development and execution of strategic plans to achieve TFL’s goals and objectives. · Make strategic decisions that align with the company’s long-term growth and sustainability.
2.Executive Team Leadership:
· Build and lead an effective executive team, delegating responsibilities and fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture. . Provide guidance and support to the leadership team in implementing TFL’s strategies and initiatives.
3.Financial Management:
·Oversee financial performance, budgeting, and forecasting. ·Ensure financial sustainability by managing costs, optimizing resources, and maximizing revenue opportunities. ·Report financial performance to the board of directors.
4.Operational Oversight:
·Ensure efficient and effective day-to-day operations of the company. . Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track operational performance and identify areas for improvement.
5. Product Development and Quality Assurance:
·Oversee the development, production, and quality assurance of dairy products. ·Ensure that products meet or exceed quality standards and regulatory requirements.
6.Market Positioning and Sales:
·Lead efforts to position the company competitively in the market. ·Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies to drive revenue.
7.Stakeholder Relations:
·Have a positive relationship with Dairy Co-operatives. ·Cultivate positive relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, government agencies, farmers, and the local community. ·Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and other public forums.
8.Risk Management:
·Identify and assess potential risks to the business. ·Develop and implement risk management strategies to mitigate potential threats to the company’s success.
9.Corporate Governance and Compliance:
.Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards. . Uphold high standards of corporate governance and ethical conduct.
10. Innovation and Technology Adoption: ·Foster a culture of innovation within TFL. ·Explore and adopt new technologies and practices to enhance operational efficiency and product development.
11.Employee Engagement and Development:
·Promote a positive and inclusive workplace culture. ·Support the professional development of employees and provide leadership and mentorship. .Motivate a high-performance, innovative & results-driven work force.
12. Communication and Reporting:

Education Other Skills Required
·Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture, or Engineering is a preference.
· A master’s degree in Business, Management, or a related field is a plus.
· At least 3 years’ experience in the Dairy Production Industry.
·Minimum 5 years of proven management experience with people management skills in a medium to large size organization.
·Thorough understanding of diverse business processes and strategy development.
· Organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills are essential.
·Proven ability to manage and coordinate multiple projects in a fast-paced, highly professional environment.
·Working knowledge of finance.
·Superior leadership skills, with a focus on employee coaching and development.
·Ability to build consensus and relationships among executives, partners, and the workforce.
·Experience with corporate governance.
·Proven negotiation skills.
· Excellent in using various types of computer software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook).
