Job Summary
As a Technical Services Supervisor, you will hold a pivotal position in overseeing and optimizing the technical support operations within our organization.
Your primary responsibility will involve leading a team of skilled technicians, coordinating, and managing technical services, and ensuring the seamless functioning of our systems and equipment.
You will spearhead the implementation of innovative strategies, supervise maintenance programs, and provide expert guidance in diagnosing and resolving technical issues.
Your leadership and technical acumen will be instrumental in upholding our standards of excellence and operational efficiency.
Duties And Responsibilities
1.Ensure timely implementation of maintenance schedules for the camp/lodge.
2.Ensure timely attendance to corrective maintenance for the camp/lodge.
3.Plan and supervise daily maintenance of all technical issues on vehicles, generators laundry and kitchen equipment’s, water pumps, buildings/tents structures, solar systems, etc.
4.To prepare technical reports on equipment’s, systems, buildings structures and utility status.
5.Ability to read and make simple technical drawings is an added advantage.
Should be flexible to work at any ASILIA properties located within the united Republic of Tanzania.
Education Other Skills Required
1.Holders of ordinary diploma or full technician certificate (FTC) in electrical or mechanical engineering fields from recognized higher learning institution.
2.Must have at least three years of Supervisory / Team leadership experience managing not less than 15 technical people.
3.Experience in maintenance and repair of electrical, electronics and / or mechanical equipment’s / machines.
4.Experience in preparation and implementation of preventive maintenance plan schedules is an added advantage.
5.Computer literate specifically in M/s Excel, M/s Word, and Internet communications.
6.Should have exposure and experience in working at camps/lodges.
7.Ability to work under minimum supervision.
8.Excellent written and verbal communication skills coupled with good listening and critical.
9.Reasoning skills.
10.Should have problem solving and decision-making skills.
11.High energetic and pro-active Should be able to demonstrate both mental agility and physical fitness for the role.
12.Must be able to demonstrate excellent analytical and report writing skills.
