Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Reservations Specialist. The primary responsibility of this role is to handle all aspects of the reservation process, from initial booking inquiries to confirming reservations and providing exceptional customer service throughout. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Duties And Responsibilities
Respond promptly and professionally to all reservation inquiries via phone, email, or online platforms.
Assist guests in selecting appropriate accommodations based on their needs and preferences.
Input and manage reservations accurately in the booking system, ensuring all relevant information is captured.
Coordinate with other departments to fulfill special requests and ensure guest satisfaction.
Process reservations, including taking payments and issuing confirmation emails or letters.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of room availability, rates, and promotions.
Handle cancellations and modifications to existing reservations according to company policies.
Provide excellent customer service to resolve any issues or concerns raised by guests.
Keep accurate records of all reservation-related communications and transactions.
Assist in generating reports and analyzing reservation data as needed.
Education Other Skills Required
Bachelor's degree in Hospitality and Tourism or related field
Previous experience in a customer service or reservations role preferred.
Proficiency in using reservation software and Microsoft Office suite.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
