Job Summary
As the Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic sales initiatives to expand our client base and increase revenue in the construction and manufacturing sector. You are also responsible for identifying potential growth opportunities and negotiating contracts with prospective clients. Success in this role will be demonstrated by achieving and surpassing sales quotas.
Duties And Responsibilities
Managing organizational sales by developing a business plan that covers sales, revenue, and expense controls.
Meeting planned sales goals.
Setting individual sales targets with the sales team.
Tracking sales goals and reporting results as necessary.
Overseeing the activities and performance of the sales team.
Coordinating with marketing on lead generation.
The ongoing training of your sales Representative.
Developing your sales team through motivation, counseling, and product knowledge education.
Promoting the organization and products.
Understand our ideal customers and how they relate to our products.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the construction equipment sector.
Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Sales Marketing or a related field
Education Other Skills Required
Minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience within the construction equipment industry.
Strong understanding of construction equipment products and their applications.
Proficiency in CRM Customer Relationship Management software and Microsoft Office suite.
Demonstrated track record of success in achieving and exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate, coach, and develop a high-performing sales team.
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence key decision-makers.
Solid understanding of construction and manufacturing processes, products, and industry dynamics.
Proven ability to develop and execute strategic sales plans, analyze market trends, and identify business opportunities.
Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients, attend meetings, and participate in industry events.
