We are looking for an experienced Certified Public Accountant (CPA) to join our accounting department. You’ll be responsible for preparing, reviewing and analyzing financial reports for our company.

Our ideal candidate has in-depth knowledge of bookkeeping, auditing and budgeting procedures. You should also be able to monitor daily transactions and recommend ways we can improve our financial health. Previous work experience, along with a degree in Accounting and a CPA qualification is required for this role.

Financial Reporting:

• Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and other regulatory requirements.

Auditing:

• Conduct internal and external audits to ensure financial accuracy and compliance.
• Review and analyze financial documents to identify discrepancies and recommend corrective actions.

Taxation:

• Prepare and file federal, state, and local tax returns.
• Provide strategic tax planning and advisory services to minimize tax liabilities.
• Stay updated on current tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance.

Budgeting and Forecasting:

• Develop and manage annual budgets and financial forecasts.
• Monitor budget performance and recommend adjustments as necessary.

Accounts Management:

• Oversee accounts payable and receivable functions.
• Ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices, payments, and collections.

Financial Analysis:

• Perform financial analysis to support business decisions and strategies.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.

Compliance and Regulations:

• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
• Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets.

Consulting and Advisory:

• Provide financial advice and insights to senior management and other departments.
• Assist in financial planning and strategy development.

Technology and Systems:

• Utilize accounting software and ERP systems for financial management.
• Implement and improve financial systems and processes to increase efficiency.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA certification is required.

Experience:

• Proven experience as a CPA Accountant or in a similar role.
• Experience with accounting software and ERP systems (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle).
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, tax laws, and financial regulations.
