Job Summary
As an Assistant Quality Manager, you will support the Quality Manager in overseeing the quality assurance and control processes within the organization. This role is crucial in ensuring that products meet specified standards of quality, reliability, and performance. You will assist in developing and implementing quality management systems, conducting audits, and leading continuous improvement initiatives.

Duties And Responsibilities
  • Quality Assurance: Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of quality assurance protocols and procedures.
  • Quality Control: Monitor and evaluate production processes to ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards.
  • Audits and Inspections: Conduct internal audits and support external audits to ensure adherence to quality standards.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of quality control tests, inspections, and audits.
  • Non-Conformance Management: Investigate and address product non-conformances, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
  • Training: Assist in training staff on quality standards, processes, and procedures.
  • Continuous Improvement: Lead or participate in quality improvement projects and initiatives to enhance product quality and operational efficiency.
  • Customer Complaints: Assist in investigating customer complaints and ensure timely resolution.
  • Reporting: Prepare and present reports on quality performance and improvement activities to senior management.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards.

Education Other Skills Required
  • Bachelor’s degree in Quality Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a quality assurance or quality control role.
  • Strong knowledge of quality management systems (QMS) and standards.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in using quality management software and tools.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Project management skills are a plus.
