Job Summary
As a Mechanical Engineer you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing mechanical systems and components. Duties And Responsibilities
Design and Development:
Create detailed mechanical designs and schematics using CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD).
Develop prototypes and conduct testing to validate design concepts.
Optimize designs for performance, manufacturability, and cost-effectiveness.
Project Management:
Lead or participate in engineering projects from concept to completion.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including electrical, software, and manufacturing engineers.
Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
Analysis and Testing:
Perform engineering calculations, simulations, and analyses (e.g., FEA, CFD).
Conduct tests to evaluate mechanical systems and components under various conditions.
Analyze test results and implement design modifications as necessary.
Documentation and Reporting:
Prepare detailed technical documentation, including design specifications, test reports, and user manuals.
Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders and management.
Maintain accurate records of design iterations and test results.
Continuous Improvement:
Identify opportunities for process and product improvements.
Stay updated with the latest advancements in mechanical engineering and related technologies.
Participate in continuous learning and professional development activities.
Education Other Skills Required
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
3 years of experience in mechanical engineering.
Proficiency in CAD software and engineering analysis tools.
Experience with project management and working in a collaborative team environment.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in work.
Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
Professional Engineer (PE) license.
Knowledge of industry standards and regulations.
Familiarity with manufacturing processes and materials science.
