Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly, professional, and highly organized Front Office Receptionist on behalf of our client to be the first point of contact for their guests at their lodge. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a warm welcome, efficiently handling check-ins and check-outs, and ensuring a seamless guest experience from arrival to departure.

Duties And Responsibilities
  • Guest Services: Greet guests upon arrival with a warm and welcoming demeanor. Assist with check-in/check-out procedures, and handle any inquiries or requests to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Reservations Management: Manage and confirm room reservations via phone, email, or online booking systems, ensuring accurate data entry and timely communication with guests.
  • Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for all guest interactions, answering phone calls, responding to emails, and providing information about the hotel's services, amenities, and local attractions.
  • Administrative Tasks: Maintain accurate records of guest stays, update the guest database, process payments, and prepare reports as required by the Front Office Manager.
  • Problem Resolution: Address and resolve any guest concerns or complaints promptly and effectively, escalating issues to the Front Office Manager when necessary.
  • Coordination: Liaise with other departments, such as housekeeping and maintenance, to ensure guest rooms are ready for arrival and special requests are accommodated.
  • Security: Monitor the security of the lobby area, ensuring a safe and secure environment for both guests and staff.
  • Upselling: Promote hotel services and amenities, including dining options, spa treatments, and special packages, to enhance the guest experience and increase revenue.

Education Other Skills Required
  • Bachelor of Science in Hospitality and Tourism Management, Hospitality Management, Business Administration in Hospitality and Tourism Management or related field
  • Proven experience as a Receptionist or in a customer service role, preferably in the hospitality industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with hotel management software (e.g., Opera, Fidelio, or similar).
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Professional appearance and a positive attitude.
  • Ability to handle stressful situations with poise and professionalism.
