We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Mechanical Engineer on behalf of our client to join their engineering team. The ideal candidate will assist in the design, development, and testing of mechanical systems and components. This role offers an excellent opportunity for recent graduates or entry-level engineers to gain hands-on experience and grow within a dynamic and innovative environment.

Design & Development:

• Assist in the design and development of mechanical systems, products, and components using CAD software.
• Support senior engineers in creating detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute innovative ideas to improve designs and processes.

Prototyping & Testing:

• Assist in the fabrication and assembly of prototypes, working closely with the production team.
• Conduct tests and simulations to evaluate the performance, durability, and reliability of mechanical systems.
• Gather and analyze test data, prepare reports, and recommend design improvements based on findings.

Project Support:

• Provide technical support in the planning and execution of engineering projects.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including electrical engineers, manufacturing, and quality control, to ensure project success.
• Assist in the preparation of project documentation, including bill of materials (BOMs), project schedules, and progress reports.

Maintenance & Troubleshooting:

• Participate in the maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of mechanical systems and equipment.
• Assist in identifying and diagnosing mechanical issues, providing support in finding effective solutions.
• Work closely with the maintenance team to ensure the proper functioning of machinery and systems.

Compliance & Safety:

• Ensure that all designs and projects comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies.
• Participate in safety reviews and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and implement preventive measures.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest engineering standards, technologies, and best practices.

Continuous Improvement:

• Actively seek opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance the quality of mechanical designs and processes.
• Participate in training programs and workshops to develop technical skills and knowledge.
• Provide feedback and suggestions to improve engineering processes and tools.

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering principles, materials, and manufacturing processes.
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar).
• Basic understanding of FEA (Finite Element Analysis) and other engineering analysis tools is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
• Internship or co-op experience in mechanical engineering or related fields.
• Familiarity with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Basic knowledge of project management principles.
