Job Summary
As a Senior Relationship Officer you will be responsible for managing and enhancing the company’s relationships with its key clients. This role involves providing exceptional client service, identifying new business opportunities, and ensuring client satisfaction. You will act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring that their needs are met efficiently and effectively while aligning with the company's goals.
Duties And Responsibilities
Client Relationship Management:
Develop and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key clients.
Serve as the main point of contact for clients, addressing their needs and resolving any issues that arise.
Conduct regular meetings with clients to assess their needs and satisfaction levels.
Identify opportunities to grow the client base and enhance existing relationships.
Business Development:
Identify and pursue new business opportunities with existing and potential clients.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure the successful delivery of products and services.
Present new products and services to clients and encourage their adoption.
Client Service and Support:
Provide timely and effective responses to client inquiries.
Work closely with the customer service team to ensure client concerns are addressed promptly.
Oversee the onboarding process for new clients to ensure a smooth transition.
Strategic Planning:
Develop strategies to enhance client retention and satisfaction.
Analyze market trends and client data to identify opportunities for growth.
Participate in the development of marketing and sales strategies.
Reporting and Compliance:
Prepare and present reports on client activity, satisfaction, and business development efforts.
Ensure all client interactions comply with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Monitor client contracts and ensure adherence to agreed terms.
Team Leadership:
Mentor and guide junior relationship officers and support staff.
Provide training and development opportunities for team members.
Lead by example, fostering a positive and client-focused culture within the team.
Education Other Skills Required
A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in relationship management, client services, or sales, preferably in the financial services or banking industry.
Proven track record in managing client relationships and driving business growth.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships.
Excellent problem-solving and negotiation skills.
Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong client service orientation with a focus on delivering high-quality service.
Ability to multitask and manage multiple client relationships simultaneously.
