Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled a Electrical Technician on behalf of our client to join their construction company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems on construction sites, ensuring safety standards are met. This role requires expertise in electrical systems, problem-solving abilities, and a focus on delivering high-quality work.
Duties And Responsibilities
Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, including wiring, lighting, and electrical equipment, according to blueprints and technical specifications.
Test and inspect electrical systems and components to identify faults, malfunctions, or safety issues.
Troubleshoot electrical problems and provide timely repairs or adjustments.
Ensure all electrical installations comply with local electrical codes, standards, and safety regulations.
Collaborate with construction teams, engineers, and contractors to ensure proper electrical integration in building projects.
Conduct regular maintenance and inspections to ensure electrical systems function efficiently.
Assist in planning and designing electrical systems for new construction projects.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to site safety protocols.
Keep accurate records of electrical work, maintenance, and repairs conducted on the job site.
Operate and maintain electrical tools and equipment in a safe and effective manner.
Education Other Skills Required
Diploma or certification in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
Proven experience (2+ years) as an Electrical Technician, preferably in the construction industry.
Strong knowledge of electrical codes, safety standards, and best practices.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams.
Hands-on experience with electrical tools, testing devices, and equipment.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Attention to detail and precision in electrical work.
Ability to work independently and as part of a construction team.
Good physical condition and ability to work in a demanding environment.
Excellent time management and communication skills.
