We are seeking a skilled and experienced Repair Technician on behalf of our client to join their team. The Repair Technician will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining mobile phones and other electronic devices. Candidates should have prior experience working in a professional company environment and demonstrate excellent technical skills in troubleshooting and repairs.
Duties And Responsibilities
Device Repair & Maintenance:
Diagnose and repair various phone models, addressing hardware and software issues.
Perform repairs such as screen replacements, battery replacements, motherboard repairs, and software troubleshooting.
Ensure all repairs are completed efficiently, adhering to company standards and best practices.
Technical Diagnostics:
Use diagnostic tools and techniques to accurately identify issues with devices.
Provide clear explanations of faults to customers or team members, offering solutions and timelines for repairs.
Document all repair processes, including parts used and work performed.
Quality Assurance:
Ensure all repaired devices meet quality standards before being returned to customers.
Test devices post-repair to confirm functionality and troubleshoot any remaining issues.
Keep up-to-date with the latest repair techniques and tools, ensuring continuous professional development.
Inventory Management:
Manage repair parts inventory, ensuring proper stock levels for frequently used components.
Ensure that all tools and equipment are well-maintained and in working condition.
Customer Support:
Communicate with customers regarding repair statuses, expected completion times, and any additional issues discovered during repair.
Provide customers with recommendations for device care and preventive maintenance.
Maintain a high level of customer service and professionalism at all times.
Collaboration with Team:
Work closely with other technicians and team members to ensure efficient workflow and meet repair targets.
Provide training and support to junior technicians when necessary.
Collaborate with the Service Manager to improve repair processes and customer satisfaction.
Education Other Skills Required
Diploma in Technical Repairs or related field.
Level L3 certification in phone or electronic device repair is required.
Proven experience working as a Repair Technician in a professional company environment.
Strong knowledge of phone hardware and software repair techniques.
Proficiency in using repair tools, diagnostic software, and equipment.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication skills to interact with both customers and team members.
Familiarity with safety protocols and procedures when handling electronic devices.
Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in phone or electronic device repairs.
Previous experience working in a company or service center environment is required.
