Job Summary
The Real Estate Manager is responsible for overseeing the acquisition, management, and sale of real estate properties for an organization or individual. This role involves handling the operational, financial, and administrative aspects of property management to ensure the optimal performance and profitability of the real estate portfolio.

Duties And Responsibilities
Property Acquisition and Sales:
  • Identify potential properties for purchase or lease.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to determine property values and investment potential.
  • Negotiate purchase, sale, or lease agreements.
  • Coordinate property inspections and appraisals.

Property Management:
  • Oversee daily operations of properties, including maintenance, security, and tenant relations.
  • Ensure properties are well-maintained and meet safety standards.
  • Manage tenant selection, lease agreements, and lease renewals.
  • Handle tenant complaints, conflicts, and service requests efficiently.

Financial Management:
  • Develop and manage property budgets, forecasts, and financial reports. Monitor income, expenses, and profitability of properties.
  • Ensure timely collection of rent and other payments.
  • Prepare and manage capital expenditure plans and budgets.

Administrative Duties:
  • Maintain accurate records of property transactions, leases, and contracts.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Coordinate with legal, financial, and other professionals as needed.
  • Prepare and present regular reports to senior management.

Strategic Planning:
  • Develop long-term strategies for property acquisition, development, and disposal.
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Monitor real estate market trends and adjust strategies accordingly.

Education Other Skills Required
  • Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in real estate management or a similar role.
  • Real estate license or certification (e.g., CPM, RPA) preferred. 
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Excellent financial and analytical abilities.
  • Knowledge of property laws, zoning regulations, and building codes.
  • Proficiency in property management software, Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite - Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Regular travel to properties for inspections and meetings.
  • Combination of office work and on-site property visits.
