Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operations Manager on behalf of our client to oversee and manage the daily operations of our security company. The Operations Manager will be responsible for ensuring effective service delivery, operational efficiency, and maintaining high levels of client satisfaction. This role involves managing security personnel, optimizing operational processes, and ensuring compliance with company policies and legal regulations.

Duties And Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Management:
  • Oversee recruitment, training, scheduling, and performance management of security personnel.
  • Lead, motivate, and manage security teams to ensure they deliver high-quality services.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies and standard operating procedures by all staff.

Operational Planning & Coordination:
  • Develop and implement operational strategies, policies, and procedures to optimize efficiency.
  • Coordinate the allocation of resources to meet client needs and operational demands.
  • Ensure proper deployment and coverage of security personnel across various sites.

Client Relationship Management:
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients regarding security services.
  • Regularly communicate with clients to assess their satisfaction and address concerns promptly.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships to enhance customer retention and satisfaction.

Compliance & Safety:
  • Ensure that all operations comply with legal requirements, industry standards, and health and safety regulations.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure service quality and adherence to security protocols.
  • Maintain accurate records of operational activities, incidents, and reports.

Budget & Resource Management:
  • Manage operational budgets, controlling costs and maximizing profitability.
  • Optimize the use of resources such as vehicles, equipment, and manpower to meet service delivery requirements.
  • Identify areas for cost reduction and process improvement.

Incident Management:
  • Oversee response to incidents and emergencies, ensuring quick and appropriate actions are taken.
  • Conduct post-incident reviews to improve protocols and procedures.
  • Prepare and submit incident reports to clients and senior management.

Education Other Skills Required
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Security Management, or a related field. (Equivalent experience may be considered.)
  • Proven experience in operations management, preferably within the security or service industry.
  • Experience managing large teams and multiple locations.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize tasks in a high-pressure environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational abilities.
  • Familiarity with security protocols, laws, and regulations.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and relevant security management software.
  • High level of integrity and professionalism.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to service excellence.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
