Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced General Manager on behalf of our client to oversee the daily operations, business development, and strategic direction of our security company. The successful candidate will lead teams, ensure the delivery of high-quality security services, and drive growth initiatives. The General Manager will be responsible for ensuring operational excellence, managing client relationships, and enhancing the overall efficiency of the organization.
Duties And Responsibilities
Leadership & Management:
Lead and oversee all aspects of the company’s operations, including personnel, budgets, and client services.
Develop and implement business strategies that align with company objectives and improve profitability.
Manage, motivate, and mentor a team of security personnel, supervisors, and managers.
Operational Oversight:
Ensure the effective deployment of security personnel and resources to meet client needs.
Monitor and improve operational processes, ensuring compliance with industry standards and legal requirements.
Maintain the highest level of customer service by ensuring all security services meet the client’s expectations and contractual obligations.
Business Development:
Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the client base.
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients, securing contracts and negotiating terms.
Develop marketing and sales strategies to drive business growth and revenue.
Financial Management:
Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial plans to ensure profitability.
Oversee cost management and ensure effective allocation of resources.
Prepare financial reports and present to senior management as needed.
Compliance & Risk Management:
Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
Implement and monitor security policies and procedures to mitigate risk.
Oversee the training and certification of security personnel to ensure the company adheres to safety standards and protocols.
Performance Monitoring:
Set and review performance metrics, ensuring consistent achievement of key business objectives.
Continuously assess service quality and implement improvements where necessary.
Lead initiatives for process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
Education Other Skills Required
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Security Management, or a related field is preferred.
Proven experience in a leadership role within the security industry or a related field.
Strong understanding of security operations, management, and regulatory requirements.
Experience managing large teams and complex operations.
Excellent leadership and team management skills.
Strong business acumen with experience in budgeting, financial planning, and resource allocation.
Effective communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Ability to develop and execute strategies that drive business growth.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Additional certifications in security or management are a plus.
