We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Medical Sales Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for promoting and facilitating medical services to healthcare professionals and institutions. This role involves building and maintaining relationships with clients, understanding their needs, and effectively communicating the benefits of our services to drive sales and achieve targets.


Duties And Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development:
  • Promote and sell our medical facilitation services to healthcare professionals, including doctors, nurses, and hospital administrators.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within assigned territories.
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets and objectives set by the company.

Client Relationship Management:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare stakeholders.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, addressing client inquiries and concerns promptly and effectively.
  • Conduct regular follow-ups and check-ins to ensure client satisfaction and service utilization.

Product Knowledge & Training:
  • Develop a thorough understanding of TERALIFE’s services and their benefits.
  • Educate healthcare professionals on service features and benefits through presentations and demonstrations.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, new service offerings, and competitors’ activities to maintain a competitive edge.

Market Research & Reporting:
  • Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, potential clients, and opportunities for growth.
  • Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and market analyses to management.
  • Monitor and report on competitor activities and industry developments.

Compliance & Documentation:
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, standards, and company policies.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and service engagements.
  • Complete all necessary documentation and reporting related to sales transactions and client interactions.

Collaboration:
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, product development, and customer service, to support overall business objectives.
  • Participate in trade shows, conferences, and industry events to promote the company’s services and network with potential clients.

Education Other Skills Required
  • Bachelor's degree in Medical or Biological Sciences, Business Administration, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Biomedical Sciences, or a related field.
  • 2-3 years of proven experience in medical sales or a similar role within the healthcare industry.
  • An established network of specialists and surgeons within the Dar es Salaam region is mandatory; candidates from other cities will not be considered.
  • Fluency in both written and spoken English and Swahili is essential.
  • Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets and building strong client relationships.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel and Word) or Google Sheets and Docs.
  • Strong understanding of medical services, industry regulations, and healthcare practices is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to handle objections effectively.
  • Ability to build rapport and establish trust with healthcare professionals.
  • Prior experience working in the field is required; this is a field job that involves daily meetings with surgeons and specialists at various hospitals in Dar es Salaam.
  • Candidates should be open to occasional travel within Tanzania and to neighboring countries for fieldwork.
  • Self-motivated, responsible, and able to work independently with a results-oriented approach.
  • Relevant certifications or training in medical sales are an advantage.
