Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Head of IT to oversee and lead the IT operations in our organization. You will be responsible for managing the IT team, coordinating with other departments to understand their technological needs, and developing solutions that align with the organization's overall goals. The role involves ensuring the smooth, secure, and updated functionality of all IT systems while leading strategic initiatives and continuous improvements.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Oversee all IT infrastructure and operations, ensuring efficient and secure systems.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate IT projects in line with the organization’s objectives.
- Collaborate with department heads to identify IT requirements and propose effective solutions.
- Manage and supervise the IT team, ensuring professional development and performance.
- Ensure the proper maintenance and enhancement of existing projects and technologies.
- Identify potential risks, system vulnerabilities, and areas for technological improvement.
- Propose strategic IT solutions, recommend new systems and software for organizational growth.
- Prepare and manage financial budgets related to IT operations and provide performance reports.
- Maintain strong relationships with external vendors and IT service providers.
- Ensure all reported technical issues are resolved quickly and effectively.
Education Other Skills Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications (such as ITIL, CompTIA, or Microsoft certifications) are an advantage.
- At least 3 years of management experience in an IT environment.
- Proven experience in overseeing IT infrastructure and systems, with sound knowledge of current technologies.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent project management abilities with attention to detail.
- Solid analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
