Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Food and Beverage Executive to join our team. This role will involve overseeing all aspects of food and beverage operations, ensuring high-quality service, managing staff, and optimizing operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the hospitality industry, a passion for culinary excellence, and exceptional leadership skills.
Duties And Responsibilities
To lead the service staff during shifts, ensuring a high level of service and guest satisfaction at a professional level.
To assign tasks and responsibilities to service staff and ensure they are completed effectively.
Greet and interact with guests, addressing inquiries, concerns, and special requests promptly so as to promote a positive dining experience.
Assist in recruiting, training, and supervising service staff, including waiters, hostess and bartenders.
Conduct pre-shift briefings, provide guidance, and facilitate staff development.
Handle guest billing, payments and cash handling procedures, tracking and managing revenue, expenses, and billing accuracy.
Taking inventory control and stock management and produce weekly/ monthly reports
Report any discrepancies or issues promptly.
Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of the menu items and beverage offerings and be able to assist guests in making menu selections.
Communicate any menu updates or specials to the team and guests.
Promote and enforce safety standards among staff.
Ensure staff adherence to service standards and enforce company policies and procedures.
Education Other Skills Required
Proven experience in food and beverage management, preferably in a hotel, restaurant, or catering environment.
Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, culinary arts, or a related field is preferred.
Strong knowledge of local and international food and beverage trends and practices.
Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire staff.
Strong financial acumen, with experience in budget management and cost control.
Exceptional customer service skills, with a keen focus on enhancing the guest experience.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English;
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to meet operational needs.
