Job Summary
As the Communications and Brand Visibility Officer you will develop and implement effective communication strategies that promote our mission, enhance brand visibility, and engage our stakeholders. This role involves creating compelling content, managing digital platforms, and overseeing media relations to ensure our message resonates with diverse audiences.

Duties And Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive communication strategy that aligns with the organization’s goals and objectives.
  • Create, edit, and oversee the production of high-quality content for various channels, including newsletters, press releases, social media, and the website.
  • Manage and grow the organization’s social media presence, including content creation, scheduling, and community engagement.
  • Build and maintain relationships with media outlets to secure coverage and increase visibility of the NGO’s initiatives.
  • Coordinate promotional campaigns and events to raise awareness of the NGO’s work and engage the community.
  • Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of communication efforts and adjust strategies based on feedback and metrics.
  • Collaborate with program teams to gather stories, testimonials, and data that highlight the impact of our work.
  • Ensure brand consistency across all communications and marketing materials.
  • Assist in developing materials for fundraising and donor communication.

Education Other Skills Required
  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in communications, marketing, or brand management, preferably within the nonprofit sector.
  • Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to create engaging content for diverse audiences.
  • Proficiency in social media platforms, content management systems, and graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite).
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
