Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to oversee our financial operations and ensure the stability of our organizations' financial health. This position involves developing strategies, guiding financial decisions, and managing cash flow while ensuring compliance with local financial regulations. The ideal candidate is skilled in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Develop financial models, perform budgeting, and provide variance analysis to support strategic decision-making.
- Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in line with industry standards.
- Lead the budgeting process, monitor expenditure, and assess budget alignment with organizational goals.
- Oversee cash flow, investments, and financial transactions to maintain liquidity and financial stability.
- Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations, tax requirements, and reporting standards.
- Coordinate with external auditors, prepare audit documentation, and facilitate a smooth audit process.
- Identify and mitigate financial risks through effective controls, policies, and financial practices.
- Supervise and mentor the finance team, ensuring performance standards are met and professional development is encouraged.
- Develop, implement, and maintain financial policies and procedures that align with organizational objectives and compliance requirements.
Education Other Skills Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; a Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CPA, ACCA) is an advantage.
- Proven experience as a Finance Manager or in a similar role with strong financial, budgeting, and analytical skills.
- In-depth knowledge of financial regulations, tax laws, and compliance standards.
- Proficient in financial software, accounting systems, and MS Office Suite (especially Excel).
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a strategic mindset.
