Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Operations Consultant with 5-7 years of senior-level expertise in the agricultural sector to support operational strategy and process optimization. The ideal candidate will have a primary job and be available for a flexible, part-time consulting role. Deep familiarity with agribusiness operations and market trends is essential, as this role focuses on elevating efficiency, resource management, and market positioning for long-term growth.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Evaluate and streamline processes across supply chain, logistics, and production to ensure effective resource use, lower costs, and minimized waste.
- Conduct in-depth research on demand, emerging trends, and competitive analysis to guide product positioning and expansion.
- Develop short- and long-term operational strategies aligned with market needs, incorporating risk mitigation, quality control, and sustainability initiatives.
- Collect and analyze operational data to recommend system upgrades or process adjustments that increase productivity.
- Optimize inventory levels, forecasting, and distribution channels to meet product demand and maintain steady supply.
- Ensure operational practices align with regulatory standards and environmental policies, while implementing safety and risk management protocols.
Education Other Skills Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Agribusiness, Agricultural Economics, Operations Management, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- 5-7 years of senior-level experience in the agricultural industry, with a proven track record in operational consulting or process optimization.
