Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Civil Engineer on behalf of our client to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, designing, and overseeing construction and maintenance projects such as roads, bridges, buildings, and water supply systems. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, a problem-solving attitude, and the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Design and develop civil engineering projects from concept to completion.
- Conduct feasibility studies and environmental impact assessments.
- Prepare detailed project plans, specifications, and estimates.
- Supervise construction activities to ensure compliance with design specifications and safety standards.
- Collaborate with architects, urban planners, and other engineers to ensure project coherence.
- Manage project budgets and schedules to ensure timely completion.
- Conduct site inspections and assessments to monitor project progress and quality.
- Prepare reports and documentation for project stakeholders.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends, regulations, and technologies.
Education Other Skills Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- 2 years of experience in civil engineering or construction management.
- Proficiency in engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D, etc.).
- Knowledge of local building codes, regulations, and environmental laws.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Experience in project management and site supervision.
- Familiarity with sustainable engineering practices and green building techniques.
- Proficient in report writing and technical documentation.
