Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented Radio Equipment Installation Site Engineer on behalf of our client to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, testing, and maintenance of radio communication equipment and systems. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Duties And Responsibilities
Assist the Integrated Solution Manager in formulating the hardware installation guide for wireless devices related to the site.
Collaborate with the Engineering Manager to develop the engineering implementation plan and manage on-site subcontractors effectively.
Install and configure radio communication equipment at designated sites while ensuring adherence to the formulated plans.
Conduct site surveys to assess installation requirements and determine the optimal placement of equipment.
Assist in collecting documents related to wireless device installation, debugging, and acceptance.
Perform testing and troubleshooting of radio systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
Implement the wireless site construction solution, taking charge of site construction progress and quality.
Document installation processes, test results, and equipment specifications for project records.
Provide technical support and training to end-users on the operation of installed equipment.
Ensure compliance with safety standards and industry regulations during installation and maintenance activities.
Maintain inventory of tools and equipment and ensure proper maintenance and calibration.
Education Other Skills Required
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field.
2 years of experience in radio equipment installation or a similar technical role.
Strong understanding of radio frequency (RF) principles and communication systems.
Proficiency in using installation tools and equipment, as well as testing and diagnostic software.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Experience with network configuration and troubleshooting.
Familiarity with safety standards and practices related to telecommunications installations.
Knowledge of various radio communication technologies, including analog and digital systems.
