The Operations Manager will be responsible for managing daily operations, ensuring efficient production and delivery of services, and maintaining a high standard of quality and safety. This role requires strong leadership, excellent organizational skills, and a deep understanding of food chain operations to optimize productivity, foster team cohesion, and ensure client satisfaction.
Duties And Responsibilities
Oversee day-to-day operations of catering services, including kitchen production, event logistics, and delivery coordination.
Manage and lead kitchen staff, event coordinators, and logistics personnel, providing training, scheduling, and support to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
Monitor food preparation and presentation to maintain high quality, consistency, and adherence to safety and hygiene standards.
Maintain inventory levels, coordinate with suppliers, and manage stock to ensure adequate supplies are available while minimizing waste.
Liaise with clients to understand their needs, manage event setup, and address any service-related concerns promptly and professionally.
Monitor budgets, manage expenses, and implement cost-saving initiatives to improve profitability without compromising quality.
Ensure all team members adhere to health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
Continuously analyze operations, identify areas for improvement, and implement new processes to enhance efficiency and service delivery.
Education Other Skills Required
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field (preferred).
Minimum of 3 years of experience in operations management within a food chain, catering, or food service environment.
Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Familiarity with inventory management software and food safety regulations.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a client-focused approach.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and work weekends or evenings as needed.
