Job Summary
We are looking for enthusiastic and dependable Delivery Agents on behalf of our client to join their team and help them provide top-notch service. As a Delivery Agent, you will be responsible for delivering food packages to customers in a timely, professional, and safe manner. You will ensure all deliveries are completed according to company standards, maintaining the highest levels of customer satisfaction.

Duties And Responsibilities
  • Pick up and deliver the products orders promptly to customers in various locations.
  • Ensure food items are handled and transported safely and hygienically.
  • Follow delivery instructions and routes for timely service.
  • Communicate courteously with customers and handle any inquiries.
  • Provide feedback to management on customer interactions and delivery challenges.
  • Adhere to traffic laws and company safety policies.
  • Verify Orders for Accuracy: Double-check orders before leaving the restaurant or delivery point to ensure accuracy and completeness, avoiding missing or incorrect items.
  • Regularly check and maintain the motorbike, delivery bags, and any other equipment to ensure they are in good working condition, clean, and safe for use.
  • Log book record keeping : Maintain records of deliveries made, including time, location, and any issues encountered for reporting and performance tracking
  • Assist with Promotions: Distribute promotional materials (e.g., flyers or coupons) to customers during deliveries to encourage repeat business or promote new services.
  • Report Road Hazards: Inform management of any road hazards or traffic conditions that could affect delivery times.
  • Motorbike Maintenance Reporting: Report any vehicle issues or necessary repairs to ensure safety and reliability during deliveries.
  • Assist with Packaging: In some cases, assist with basic packaging of food items at the restaurant or preparation point, ensuring secure and efficient packing for delivery.
  • Customer Service Resolution: Handle basic customer complaints or delivery-related issues, offering solutions such as refunds or replacements when necessary, and escalating larger issues to management.

Education Other Skills Required
  • Secondary school certificate or higher.
  • Valid driver’s license with at least a motorbike class.
  • Must possess a smartphone with GPS capability.
  • Proficient in English and Swahili.
  • Prior delivery experience is preferred but not required.
  • Excellent time management, ability to work independently, and good communication skills.
  • Physical fitness for loading and unloading.
  • Familiarity with local roads and areas.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.
  • NIDA ID
  • Police Clearance Certificate.
  • Letter of introduction from local government authorities.
  • 2 referees to act as guarantors.
