As the People and Culture Officer will play a key role in shaping our workplace culture, employee engagement, and talent development. This individual will lead initiatives that promote diversity, equity, and inclusion, enhance employee satisfaction, and drive the success of our people strategies. As a trusted advisor to leadership, you will collaborate across departments to ensure that our people practices align with our company values and support our long-term growth.
Duties And Responsibilities
Cultivate and sustain a positive and innovative work culture by leading programs that foster collaboration, creativity, and inclusivity. Ensure that the company’s core values are consistently reflected in day-to-day operations.
Oversee and improve recruitment strategies to attract top talent, ensuring an inclusive and efficient hiring process. Lead the onboarding process to provide new hires with a seamless and engaging experience.
Develop and implement initiatives that increase employee satisfaction, engagement, and retention. Conduct regular surveys and feedback sessions to understand employee needs and concerns.
Create and implement training programs that promote career growth, skill development, and leadership opportunities for employees at all levels.
Assist in the development and execution of performance management processes, including goal setting, feedback, and evaluations. Provide guidance to managers on best practices for performance development.
Champion Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion initiatives, ensuring that the company fosters a diverse workforce and provides an inclusive environment where everyone can thrive.
Ensure that all HR policies and practices are in compliance with local laws and regulations. Update company policies as necessary to reflect changes in legal requirements or organizational needs.
Manage day-to-day HR functions, including employee records, compensation and benefits administration, and conflict resolution. Provide support for payroll and other administrative tasks as needed.
Education Other Skills Required
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related fields. Master's degree or advanced certifications.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in Human Resources or People and Culture roles, with at least 2 years in a leadership capacity. Prior experience in a fast-paced tech or startup environment is preferred.
Strong knowledge of HR best practices, labor laws, and compliance standards.
Proven experience in talent acquisition, employee relations, and organizational development.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels.
Demonstrated expertise in implementing performance management systems and employee engagement strategies.
Strong proficiency in HRIS (Human Resource Information System), applicant tracking systems, and other HR software (e.g., BambooHR, Workday).
Data-driven approach to people management, with the ability to analyze employee data to inform decision-making.
Knowledge of creating and executing diversity and inclusion programs.
Experience with change management and supporting organizational growth.
Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects while maintaining attention to detail.
