Job Summary
We are looking for a proactive and certified Junior Mechanical Engineerto join our team. This role is perfect for a recent graduate or an engineer with up to 2 years of experience, eager to apply their technical knowledge to real-world challenges. The successful candidate will assist in designing, developing, and maintaining mechanical systems and components, contributing to innovative solutions and process improvements.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Assist in the design, analysis, and testing of mechanical systems and components.
- Create detailed technical drawings and specifications using CAD software.
- Conduct research to identify innovative materials, components, or processes for project applications.
- Collaborate with senior engineers and cross-functional teams to support project execution.
- Perform calculations and simulations to ensure product safety, efficiency, and compliance with standards.
- Support manufacturing teams with process optimization and troubleshooting.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of mechanical systems and recommend improvements.
- Prepare documentation, including technical reports and presentations, for internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure adherence to industry regulations, quality standards, and safety protocols.
- Stay updated on advancements in mechanical engineering and related technologies.
Education Other Skills Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Mechanical Engineering Certification(e.g., Certified Engineer by the relevant professional board or institution).
- Up to 2 years of experiencein a mechanical engineering role (internship experience is acceptable).
- Proficiency in engineering software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or ANSYS.Strong understanding of mechanical systems, materials, and manufacturing processes.
- Basic knowledge of industry standards and safety regulations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Self-motivated with a willingness to learn and adapt.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of project management principles or ERP systems is an added advantage.
- Familiarity with CNC machining, 3D printing, or other advanced manufacturing techniques.
- Hands-on experience with mechanical systems testing or prototyping.
