Job Summary
The Group Director of Human Capital Management (HCM) at the Group is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing the Group's human capital strategy across its subsidiaries and international operations. This role involves leading talent management strategies, organizational design, employee engagement, and overseeing human resources (HR) functions to support the Group's growth and operational needs across 20 subsidiaries in various countries. The Director ensures that human capital aligns with the Group's overall objectives and ensures the Group remains a competitive employer within the logistics and transportation industry.
Duties And Responsibilities
Develop and execute the Group's human capital strategy in alignment with the overall business strategy. Ensure that talent management practices support the company's growth and expansion into new markets.
Create strategies for attracting, recruiting, and retaining top talent within the subsidiaries, with a focus on the evolving needs of the Group as it expands into new regions.
Design and implement leadership development programs to ensure that the Group's leaders possess the necessary skills to manage teams and drive performance across regions.
Work with leadership to ensure that the structure, culture, and employee experience support a high-performance work environment.
Develop and lead initiatives to improve employee engagement, satisfaction, and morale. Foster a workplace that values inclusion, diversity, and continuous development.
Champion the development and promotion of the Group's core values, ensuring they are applied consistently across all subsidiaries and regions.
Lead HR transformation initiatives, ensuring that all changes in organizational structure, culture, or processes are effectively communicated and managed.
Oversee the design and implementation of performance management systems, including goal-setting, employee evaluations, and feedback mechanisms, ensuring alignment with the Group's strategic objectives.
Implement and oversee continuous learning opportunities for employees at all levels, including leadership training, technical skills development, and personal growth programs.
Develop and manage succession planning strategies by identifying high-potential employees and preparing them for future leadership roles within the Group.
Develop competitive compensation strategies and ensure that the Group's offerings are aligned with local market standards while supporting the Group's global objectives.
Oversee the management and optimization of employee benefit programs, ensuring compliance with local regulations and alignment with global best practices.
Work on establishing and maintaining a global compensation structure that accounts for the diverse international workforce of the Group while aligning with business goals.
Oversee the creation and application of HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with labor laws and regulations in all countries where the Group operates.
Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations in all countries, managing legal risks related to human capital.
Manage escalated employee relations issues, working with internal legal advisors as necessary to ensure fair resolution of disputes.
Develop and oversee HR metrics to track employee performance, turnover, engagement, and organizational effectiveness.
Utilize HR data to inform strategic decisions on talent management, workforce planning, and overall human capital management.
Provide regular HR reports to the Group leadership, including key insights, trends, and improvement recommendations.
Lead the global HR team, providing direction, coaching, and mentorship to HR managers and staff across subsidiaries.
Drive the evolution of the HR function, improving HR processes, tools, and technology to ensure operational excellence across all Group operations.
Work closely with other departments (finance, operations, legal) to ensure that HR strategies are integrated with the Group's broader goals and initiatives.
Education Other Skills Required
Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Professional HR certifications (e.g., SHRM- SCP, CIPD, HRCI) are highly preferred.
At least 10 years of experience in human resources management, with a minimum of 5 years in a senior leadership role (e.g., HR Director, VP of HR, Group HR Head) in a multinational organization.
Experience in the logistics, transportation, or multinational sectors is preferred, with a solid understanding of the talent management challenges and needs at a global scale.
