Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and innovative Chef de Cuisine to lead our culinary team and oversee the daily operations of our kitchen. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional leadership, creativity, and culinary expertise, ensuring the consistent delivery of high-quality cuisine that exceeds guest expectations. This role involves menu development, staff training, and maintaining the highest standards of food preparation, presentation, and hygiene.

Duties And Responsibilities
  • Plan, direct, and coordinate kitchen operations to achieve financial, operational, and quality objectives.
  • Develop and execute innovative menus that reflect the establishment’s concept and guest preferences.
  • Ensure all dishes are prepared and presented according to set recipes and standards.
  • Recruit, train, and mentor kitchen staff to achieve a high-performing and cohesive team.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Maintain kitchen inventory, manage food costs, and minimize waste.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and occupational health standards.
  • Collaborate with the procurement team to source high-quality and cost-effective ingredients.
  • Work closely with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Address guest feedback promptly and implement strategies to enhance the dining experience.
  • Monitor market trends to adapt menus and offerings competitively.
  • Develop and implement strategies to drive revenue growth and maximize profitability.

Education Other Skills Required
  • Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Culinary Arts, Hospitality Management or equivalent certification and related fields from a recognized institution.
  • Proven experience as a Chef de Cuisine, Executive Chef, or similar leadership role.
  • Exceptional cooking skills with expertise in various cuisines.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and kitchen best practices.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
