Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Procurement Officer to manage our company's procurement operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing and purchasing high-quality and cost-efficient products and services, maintaining positive supplier relationships, and ensuring compliance with company procurement policies.
Duties And Responsibilities
Oversee and supervise all activities of the purchasing department.
Prepare plans for the purchase of equipment, services, and supplies.
Enforce the company's procurement policies and procedures.
Review, compare, analyze, and approve products and services to be purchased.
Manage inventories and maintain accurate purchase and pricing records.
Update and maintain supplier information, including qualifications, delivery times, and product ranges.
Maintain good supplier relations and negotiate contracts.
Research and evaluate prospective suppliers.
Prepare budgets, cost analyses, and reports.
Education Other Skills Required
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business Management, or a similar field is preferred.
2+ years of experience as a procurement officer or in a similar position.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and purchasing software.
