Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems for our clients. The ideal candidate will have experience in diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues, performing warranty services, and providing excellent customer service. Your expertise will ensure optimal indoor air quality and comfort for our customers.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems, including air conditioners, heaters, and ventilation systems.
- Identify and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults in HVAC systems.
- Perform timely and efficient repairs, including emergency services, to ensure minimal downtime for clients.
- Respond to customer inquiries, providing guidance on system usage and maintenance.
- Maintain accurate records of services performed, including daily logs and maintenance reports.
- Ensure all work complies with relevant safety standards and regulations, including the Occupational Health and Safety Act.
Education Other Skills Required
- Vocational training in refrigeration and air conditioning (NVA Levels I-III preferred).
- Full Technician Certificate (FTC) in a related field is an added advantage.
- Minimum of 2 years of practical experience in HVAC installation, repair, and maintenance.
- Technical proficiency in handling HVAC systems, including chillers, air handling units, and electrical components.
- Strong understanding of safety standards and environmental guidelines related to HVAC operations.
- Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and schematics.
- Proficiency in Swahili and English for effective communication.
- Physical ability to work in confined spaces and lift heavy equipment.
- Experience with modern HVAC diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Knowledge of energy-efficient HVAC systems and solutions.
- Strong problem-solving and time-management skills.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
