Job Summary
We are seeking a meticulous and proactive Finance and Administration Officerto oversee financial management, administrative functions, and operational processes within the organization. The ideal candidate will ensure financial integrity, compliance with policies, and effective management of resources to support our organizational goals.

Duties And Responsibilities
  • Prepare, monitor, and report on budgets, forecasts, and financial statements.
  • Process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring accurate and timely payment of invoices and receipts.
  • Reconcile bank accounts and track financial transactions to maintain accurate records.
  • Ensure compliance with tax, legal, and regulatory requirements, including payroll processing and statutory submissions.
  • Assist in the preparation of annual audits and liaise with external auditors.
  • Manage office operations, including procurement of supplies, inventory management, and maintenance of office equipment.
  • Maintain and update administrative records and filing systems.
  • Coordinate logistics for meetings, workshops, and other events.
  • Develop and implement administrative procedures to improve operational efficiency.
  • Oversee payroll and employee benefits administration.
  • Maintain employee records, including contracts, leave schedules, and performance evaluations.
  • Support recruitment processes by coordinating interviews and onboarding new hires.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, local laws, and regulations.
  • Develop and enforce internal controls to safeguard company assets.
  • Monitor and manage organizational risks, escalating issues where necessary.
  • Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Analyze financial data to provide insights and recommendations to management.
  • Contribute to strategic planning and decision-making processes through financial analysis.

Education Other Skills Required
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. A professional qualification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) is an added advantage.
  • Proven experience (3+ years) in financial and administrative roles, preferably in a similar industry.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and budgeting.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and advanced Excel skills.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with HR management and office administration procedures is an advantage.

  • Team-oriented with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Adaptability and willingness to learn.
