Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to oversee and optimize our organization’s purchasing activities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing the highest quality products and services at the most competitive prices, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring adherence to company policies and industry standards.

The Procurement Manager will play a critical role in driving cost-saving strategies, maintaining supply chain efficiency, and supporting operational excellence.

Duties And Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective procurement strategies that align with organizational goals.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers to secure the best deals.
  • Evaluate and select vendors based on quality, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Monitor supplier performance and maintain strong, long-term relationships.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to understand procurement needs and ensure timely delivery.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, pricing, and new opportunities.
  • Prepare and manage the procurement budget, ensuring cost efficiency.
  • Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and inventory.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and ethical standards.
  • Mitigate risks in the supply chain by proactively addressing challenges and implementing solutions.

Education Other Skills Required
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Procurement Manager or in a similar role.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of supply chain management and procurement practices.
  • Proficient in procurement software and tools.
  • Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.
  • Familiarity with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Professional certification in procurement (e.g., CIPS, CPSM).
  • Experience in managing large-scale procurement projects.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems and data analysis.
