Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Human Resources Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will oversee and manage all aspects of human resources operations, ensuring alignment with company policies, labor laws, and organizational goals.
Duties And Responsibilities
Coordinate recruitment efforts, including posting job advertisements, shortlisting candidates, and conducting interviews.
Manage the onboarding process, ensuring a seamless transition for new employees into the organization.
Serve as the main point of contact for employee inquiries and grievances, ensuring timely resolution.
Foster a positive work environment and promote effective communication between staff and management.
Performance Management
Implement and maintain performance appraisal systems to ensure employees meet organizational standards.
Support line managers in performance evaluation and career development discussions.
Identify training needs and coordinate professional development programs to enhance employee skills.
Facilitate orientation sessions and ensure employees are updated on company policies.
Ensure the organization complies with Tanzanian labor laws and employment regulations.
Regularly update and enforce HR policies and procedures.
Administer payroll and benefits programs, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Monitor market trends to recommend competitive salary structures.
Maintain accurate employee records, contracts, and other documentation.
Prepare regular HR reports for management review.
Promote workplace health and safety standards in collaboration with relevant departments.
Coordinate initiatives to ensure employee well-being.
Education Other Skills Required
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in an HR role, preferably in a dynamic environment.
In-depth knowledge of Tanzanian labor laws and HR best practices.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems.
