Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Chinese Translator to join our logistics team. In this role, you will facilitate clear and accurate communication between Chinese-speaking stakeholders and our local team. You will be responsible for translating documents, interpreting conversations, and ensuring smooth collaboration across business operations.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Translate business documents, contracts, and correspondence from Chinese to English (and vice versa).
- Interpret verbal communications during meetings, negotiations, and site visits.
- Assist in bridging communication between Chinese-speaking partners and local staff.
- Ensure accuracy, cultural relevance, and clarity in all translations.
- Support logistics and supply chain teams in coordinating operations with Chinese suppliers and clients.
- Stay updated on industry-specific terminology to improve translation quality.
Education Other Skills Required
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Chinese Language, Translation, Linguistics, International Relations, or a related field.
- HSK (Hanyu Shuiping Kaoshi) certification is a plus.
- Proficiency in both written and spoken Chinese (Mandarin) and English.
- Previous experience in translation, interpretation, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of logistics, supply chain, or business operations is a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle confidential information.
- Additional training or certification in logistics, supply chain management, or business communicationis an advantage.
