Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Civil Engineer to oversee and execute construction projects from design to completion. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring structural integrity, project efficiency, and adherence to safety and regulatory standards. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, technical expertise, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Plan, design, and oversee construction projects, ensuring compliance with engineering standards and regulations.
- Conduct site inspections, surveys, and feasibility studies to assess project requirements.
- Prepare technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications using CAD software.
- Supervise construction activities to ensure quality, safety, and adherence to project timelines.
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
- Analyze and interpret project data, including soil tests, environmental impact assessments, and cost estimates.
- Monitor project budgets and expenditures to ensure cost-effectiveness.
- Identify and resolve engineering issues to prevent project delays or structural failures.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Prepare reports and documentation for project progress and regulatory approvals.
Education Other Skills Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in civil engineering or construction management.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other engineering software.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and structural design.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work within tight deadlines.
- Strong communication and leadership abilities.
- Familiarity with industry regulations, standards, and safety guidelines.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in infrastructure, road, or building projects.
- Certification or professional registration in civil engineering is an advantage.
