Job Summary
The Zone Manager is responsible for overseeing security operations within an assigned zone, ensuring that security services are delivered efficiently and in compliance with company standards and client expectations. This role involves supervising security personnel, conducting risk assessments, handling client relations, and reporting on security incidents and operations. The ideal candidate should have strong leadership skills, the ability to conduct investigations, and experience in security management.
Duties And Responsibilities
Ensure the implementation of security service contractsbetween the company and clients within the zone.
Supervise security personnel to ensure adherence to company standards and client requirements.
Conduct regular site visitsto assess security operations and identify areas for improvement.
Monitor and assess the performance of security guards and supervisorsto ensure high service quality.
Implement security patrolson foot, motorcycles, or vehicles as required.
Investigate and report all security incidents, including theft, damages, and negligence.
Conduct internal investigations on incidentsand prepare detailed reportsfor management and relevant authorities.
Work with the Human Resources Managerand Administrative Managersto recruit security guards for new and existing sites.
Conduct and consider performance appraisalsof senior supervisors and security staff.
Participate in developing work schedules, shifts, and leave planningfor security personnel.
Conduct continuous training, mentoring, and coachingfor security guards and supervisors.
Provide necessary support and disciplinary measuresto maintain professionalism in the workforce.
Arrange and conduct regular meetings with clientsto address concerns and ensure customer satisfaction.
Act as the primary contact for clientsin resolving security-related issues.
Respond promptlyto customer complaints and take corrective actions to maintain strong client relationships.
Provide regular reports and updatesto management regarding client feedback and security performance.
Prepare and submit incident reportsrelated to theft, damage, and security breaches.
Conduct risk analysis and assessmentsfor potential security threats and advise management accordingly.
Ensure effective communication during live incidentsand provide evidence or details to the relevant authorities as required.
Identify and recommend improvements to security operations, including new technologies and procedures.
Generate daily, weekly, and monthly reportson security operations and incidents within the zone.
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and legal security regulations.
Submit periodic reports to the Head of Operationsand assist in decision-making processes.
Assist in ensuring all security protocols and proceduresare followed at all sites under management.
Solve client problemsrelated to security operations on behalf of the company.
Assist in preparing budgets and resource allocationsfor security operations within the zone.
Conduct any other duty as directedby the Managing Director or Operations Manager.
Education Other Skills Required
Bachelor’s degree in Security Management, Business Administration, Law Enforcement, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experiencein security operations, law enforcement, or risk management.
Strong knowledge of security risk assessments, investigations, and security training.
Experience in managing security teams and client relations.
Proficiency in report writing, scheduling, and operational planning.
