Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Automotive Technician to inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain a variety of vehicles. Duties And Responsibilities
Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using diagnostic tools and troubleshooting techniques.
Perform routine maintenance, including oil changes, brake inspections, tire rotations, and fluid checks.
Repair and replace faulty parts such as brakes, engines, transmissions, and fuel systems.
Conduct thorough vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.
Test drive vehicles to confirm repairs and diagnose further issues.
Maintain accurate records of repairs, services, and parts used.
Advise customers or fleet managers on necessary repairs and preventive maintenance schedules.
Follow industry safety standards and workplace best practices.
Keep up to date with new automotive technologies and repair techniques.
Education Other Skills Required
Diploma or certification in Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in automotive repair and maintenance.
Strong knowledge of vehicle systems, diagnostics, and repair techniques.
Proficiency in using diagnostic tools, repair equipment, and hand tools.
Ability to work independently and efficiently under minimal supervision.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Good communication and customer service skills.
Attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working with a variety of vehicle brands and models.
Knowledge of computerized diagnostic systems and modern automotive technology.
Certification in automotive repair or manufacturer-specific training is an advantage.
