Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven General Manager to lead and oversee all business operations for our fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving profitability, optimizing operational efficiency, and ensuring sustainable business growth. This role requires strong leadership, strategic planning, and a deep understanding of the FMCG market.

Duties And Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement business strategies to drive revenue growth and market expansion.
  • Oversee daily operations, ensuring efficiency across sales, marketing, production, and supply chain functions.
  • Lead and mentor teams to achieve business objectives and improve overall performance.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers, distributors, and regulatory bodies.
  • Monitor financial performance, manage budgets, and optimize cost structures to maximize profitability.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations, quality standards, and company policies.
  • Analyze market trends, consumer behavior, and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.
  • Drive operational excellence through process improvements, innovation, and technology adoption.
  • Develop and execute sales and marketing strategies to enhance brand presence and customer loyalty.
  • Prepare and present performance reports to the board and executive leadership.

Education Other Skills Required
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. A Master’s degree is an advantage.
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in FMCG, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Strong understanding of FMCG sales, distribution, and supply chain management.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute business strategies for growth and profitability.
  • Excellent leadership, team management, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong financial acumen with experience in budget management and cost control.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a results-driven mindset.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working with national and international FMCG brands.
  • Knowledge of digital marketing and e-commerce strategies.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and data analytics tools.
