Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven General Manager to lead and oversee all business operations for our fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving profitability, optimizing operational efficiency, and ensuring sustainable business growth. This role requires strong leadership, strategic planning, and a deep understanding of the FMCG market.
Duties And Responsibilities
Develop and implement business strategies to drive revenue growth and market expansion.
Oversee daily operations, ensuring efficiency across sales, marketing, production, and supply chain functions.
Lead and mentor teams to achieve business objectives and improve overall performance.
Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers, distributors, and regulatory bodies.
Monitor financial performance, manage budgets, and optimize cost structures to maximize profitability.
Ensure compliance with industry regulations, quality standards, and company policies.
Analyze market trends, consumer behavior, and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.
Drive operational excellence through process improvements, innovation, and technology adoption.
Develop and execute sales and marketing strategies to enhance brand presence and customer loyalty.
Prepare and present performance reports to the board and executive leadership.
Education Other Skills Required
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. A Master’s degree is an advantage.
Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in FMCG, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role.
Strong understanding of FMCG sales, distribution, and supply chain management.
Proven ability to develop and execute business strategies for growth and profitability.
Excellent leadership, team management, and decision-making skills.
Strong financial acumen with experience in budget management and cost control.
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a results-driven mindset.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working with national and international FMCG brands.
Knowledge of digital marketing and e-commerce strategies.
Familiarity with ERP systems and data analytics tools.
