Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Warehouse Officer to manage inventory, oversee warehouse operations, and ensure efficient stock handling. The ideal candidate will be responsible for receiving, storing, and dispatching goods while maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with safety standards. This role requires strong logistics skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and record incoming stock and materials.
- Organize and maintain inventory in the warehouse to ensure easy access and efficient storage.
- Oversee order fulfillment, packing, and dispatch of goods.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, shipments, and deliveries.
- Conduct regular stock audits and cycle counts to prevent discrepancies.
- Ensure proper labeling, handling, and storage of goods to maintain product quality.
- Coordinate with procurement and logistics teams for smooth supply chain operations.
- Implement and enforce warehouse safety standards and best practices.
- Supervise warehouse staff and ensure timely task execution.
- Monitor and optimize warehouse space utilization and workflow efficiency.
Education Other Skills Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in warehouse management or inventory control.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, stock management, and logistics.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in a fast-paced distribution or manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and barcoding technology.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations in warehousing.
