Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Equipment Controller to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will manage and oversee our fleet of construction equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety. You will collaborate closely with project managers, site supervisors, and maintenance teams to support efficient operations and deliver outstanding project results.
Duties And Responsibilities
Track, monitor, and maintain the company’s inventory of construction equipment.
Schedule regular inspections, maintenance, and repairs to ensure optimal functionality and longevity.
Oversee equipment usage, ensuring proper documentation and adherence to safety standards.
Coordinate with project and site teams to allocate equipment effectively across projects.
Analyze equipment performance data and usage trends to recommend improvements or replacements.
Assist in budgeting and forecasting equipment needs, contributing to cost-control initiatives.
Ensure all equipment complies with local regulations and industry standards.
Implement and monitor safety protocols to minimize risk and enhance operational safety.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and equipment incidents.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to support project timelines and deliverables.
Serve as a key liaison between operations, finance, and maintenance teams to optimize equipment management.
Provide training and guidance on proper equipment usage and safety practices.
Education Other Skills Required
A Bachelor's Degree in construction management, logistics, or a related field is preferred.
Proven experience in equipment management, logistics, or a similar role within the construction industry.
Strong organizational skills with an eye for detail and accuracy.
Familiarity with maintenance scheduling, safety regulations, and inventory management systems.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a team-oriented mindset.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and equipment management software.
