Job Summary
We are looking for a proactive and solution-oriented IT Support Specialist to provide technical assistance, system maintenance, and troubleshooting within our insurance company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring seamless IT operations, resolving user issues, and maintaining IT infrastructureto support business efficiency and digital transformation.

Duties And Responsibilities
  • Provide first-line IT supportto employees, ensuring prompt resolution of hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Diagnose and resolve system errors, software conflicts, and technical malfunctionsin a timely manner.
  • Offer remote and on-site support for desktops, laptops, printers, and other office equipment.
  • Monitor and maintain IT infrastructure, networks, and serversto ensure optimal performance.
  • Perform routine system updates, patches, and backupsto prevent data loss and security threats.
  • Assist in managing insurance software, customer databases, and enterprise applications.
  • Ensure compliance with IT security policies and proceduresto protect sensitive customer and business data.
  • Implement antivirus solutions, firewalls, and access controlsto safeguard IT systems.
  • Educate employees on cybersecurity best practicesto prevent breaches and phishing attacks.
  • Maintain an inventory of IT assets, software licenses, and user accounts.
  • Coordinate with external IT vendors and service providers for hardware procurement, repairs, and software support.
  • Ensure timely renewal of IT service contracts and compliance with licensing agreements.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline IT processesand improve system efficiency.
  • Conduct training sessions for employeeson IT tools, business applications, and best practices.
  • Support the implementation of new technologies and digital transformation initiatives.

Education Other Skills Required
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in IT support, preferably within the insurance, banking, or financial services industry.
  • Hands-on experience with Windows and Mac operating systems, Office 365, and enterprise IT systems.
  • Strong understanding of network administration, troubleshooting, and system configuration.
  • Knowledge of cloud computing, database management, and cybersecurity principles.
  • Experience supporting insurance software, CRM, and enterprise applicationsis a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to assist non-technical users.
  • Strong problem-solving mindset with the ability to work under pressure.
  • Proactive and customer-focused with a commitment to service excellence.
